Cynological alignment
All detection dogs are trained according to their age and based on the AK9® philosophy.
AK9® philosophy:
-
Species-appropriate training based on trust
-
Structured, consequent lead/handling
-
Positive behavior is rewarded, negative behavior ignored; this means acting, not reacting.
-
When a dog shows unwanted behavior (symptom), it is not corrected, but instead the reasons are checked. Only then, the treatment is applied. This
approach promises a better, species-appropriate relationship and clearer communication between dog and human.
The AK9® philosophy is a very gentle training method that works quite simple, with family-, sports-, and detection dogs.
We are using the body language and communication of the dog to recognize nuances and tendencies. The AK9® philosophy does not consider itself as a
competition to other, widespread training methods. It rather uses those in species-appropriate manner. With this philosophy, the dog can have control over its
wherever possible. This way, they remain healthy, experience less stress and are generally happier. This AK9® philosophy has been developed by Rudolf
Muggli, Lucerne, the trainer with the soul of a dog. own live
